About the Artist
Born in Australia, Leo is a self taught artist who has worked in many artistic media. He has had studios in Brisbane and Sydney, London, and Berlin. He has exhibited internationally, in Canada, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Japan, Portugal and the U.S.A. His artwork has been published in a number of magazines and books worldwide.
In 2003 he relocated from Sydney to Berlin where he established his new studio. He undertook numerous journeys throughout Europe meeting many well known Fantastic and Visionary artists. In 2005 Leo started building the immensely popular beinart.org website for Jon Beinart, which he maintains and regularly contributes to. Seeking other opportunities, Leo moved to London in 2006. During this time he continued to come into contact with other like minded artists.
This culminated in 2008 with his invitation to exhibit in Japan with the International Fantastic Art Association (IFAA). Later that same year he returns to live in Berlin, and continues to travel and communicate with other artists all over the world. In 2009 he exhibited again with the IFAA in Paris. By then end of that year, he establishes the Fantasic Visions website.
